Cozy by Nature Top 3 Design Trends for 2024
Every year companies and designers share their thoughts on the trends we can expect to see. And every year, we eagerly wait to see what their notions are. With this year being no different, we did our research and selected our top 3 favorite design trends to expect in 2024. Check them out below!
Color of the Year - Peach Fuzz, Blue Nova and Cracked Pepper
Companies like Pantone, Benjamin Moore and Behr select their color of the year. Our favorite being Pantone’s Peach Fuzz 13- 1023. It quickly became our favorite not only because of its soft, soothing hues but for the message it conveys, comfort and togetherness.
For their 2024 color trends, Benjamin Moore created beautiful palettes including colors such as White Dove 0C- 17 and Topaz 070. But Blue Nova 825, where violet and blue comes together to create an opulent look, was their color of the year.
Behr landed on Cracked Pepper for this year’s color of the year. As described by Behr, Cracked Pepper PPU18-01 is a soft black that accentuates the space you create life moments in.
Trying either of these colors in your home allows you to express a mood of simplicity and calmness or boldness and drama!

Lime Wash, Out with High Gloss
Designers are predicting an increase in textures throughout homes in 2024. Textures such as limewash walls. If you are not familiar, limewash is a type of paint that is created from a mixture of lime mineral, natural pigments and water. Its special application technique gives way to a beautiful outcome. It has a chalky texture and gives walls a cozy look brining a natural element to any room.
Embracing Irregularities, an Artisan Touch
When we begin to acknowledge that precision and perfection in the things we see around us isn’t the best reflection of our reality, we start to fully recognize the beauty of artistry and craftsmanship. As humans, we are unique. So, to see that translated in our homes through bespoke pieces, that’s when it starts to convey the story and lives of the individuals who exists in them. Having one of a kind, hand made pieces in design seems almost necessary.
