Fall Home Reset

Fall is a beautiful time of year. Leaves are changing, the temperature is just right and for some this is a start of a new school year or new venture. As we prepare for our new beginnings, let’s take the time to reset our homes and minds.  Check out our cozy approach to a  fall home reset.  We are determined to make this fall a cozy one!

  1. Declutter - Start this fall with a clear house and a clear  mind. Go through your summer clothes, the pantry or any space in your house that can use some extra care and declutter. This can open up a lot of space and give you a fresh start for fall.

  2. Deep Clean - This goes hand and hand with decluttering. Take the time to wipe down walls and areas/surfaces you’re not able to attend to regularly. You will notice a huge difference in the appearance of your home.  It’s all in the details.

  3. Update your Bathroom and/or Guest Bathroom - Fall and winter are usually the time of year when family and friends come to visit. Make your bathroom cozy with some complementary gifts for your guest, such as travel size toothpaste, hand lotion, washcloths or hand towels. The list can go on.

  4. Ambient Lighting - Some say there is no in between with lighting, the light is either on or off. That is not how we operate here! Set the mood this fall, with natural wood scented candles or led light dimmers and relax.

  5. Blanket Stash - If you do not have a blanket stash, you’re starting fall off on the wrong foot. Kidding! But always keep fresh blankets on deck for you and your guests to cozy up with (If you’re not a blanket person, cozy up with our signature CozyByNature hoodie).

So, how are you preparing for fall this year?
